I'm bored so I decided to write a review on The Boys. Hope you like my review.
#1. The Boys
Okay for the korean version, I really like it. The lyrics are better than the English version. But with fucking multiple teasers for The Boys itself. This song didn't stand out as much as Genie or Run Devil Run. Which me, as a SONE felt disappointed. But the hell, it's still quite catchy. Jessica practically owned the song. But where is Tiffany. She didn't really sing in the song. She's just... there. I thought she was #3 vocalist. Anyway I think they should have a climax in the song. Like the song was nothing but average and you want to go worldwide with that song. I think Teddy Riley fucked up a bit. I don't know, it's just my opinion anyway. The beats of the song were okay, but the lyrics meh.. And SNSD is better without rapping. Truthfully speaking I'm just scared if American rappers would laugh at their attempt on rapping.

#2 Telepathy.
This song reminds me of Etude and Echo somehow. Additional to it is the retro feeling. It's a fun cheery party retro pop song. But the way they pronounce it Telepathy is Telepassy. Lol I thought it was Telepussy. MY bad. I know in korean it's Telepassi. But they should've change it to Telepathy anyway cause it would fit better. It's really a cute song with some nice dance beat. It ain't that bad anyway.

#3. Say Yes
Now this song is REALLY catchy. Moreover, it's a fun happy song that makes you dive into love. It's a cutesy song that would've been good to replace the horrible Oh! with redoing some of the beats to the song of course. Nonetheless, it's a mediocre track.

#4. Trick
Now can I just say holy shizzz. This song is so awesome I can't even. IT's A VERY VERY VERY STRONG TRACK. I can see this being their lead single instead of The Boys. The song has some nice catchy dance electropop house beats to it that just makes you feel alive and out of this world. People say this strong may be better than The Boys but have no strong feeling for it to be a lead single. Well that's bullshit. This is some good tune right here unless you're deaf as fuck. Not to mention, they have a chorus and the chorus is very catchy too.

#5. How Great Is Your Love.
This ballad is a nice ballad. But I don't think it can beat Star Star Star, Tears and Mistake. It's just the usual kind of ballad you would hear. I love how Sooyoung wrote this though. It's not a great ballad but it's definitely not a bad ballad. It's an average ballad.

#6. My J
I want to ask, am I the only one who thought this almost sounds like After School's Love Love Love. I seriously don't feel this song much. It sounds like a forgettable christmas song. Sorry, but I do feel that way. There's no spark to this song. Sure it's cutesy and happy and all that. But it's just a forgettable song.

#7. Oscar
I really like Oscar. It really gets up to my expectation. Because I heard it showcase their vocals more. I have to agree that this song sure showcase the girls' vocal ability. I also like how it sounds like post-Hoot. Like it sound so mysterious with kick ass lyrics. The chorus beat was flawless too. Another dominant track from the album.

#8. Top Secret
This is mediocre-almost strong track produced by them. It's like a good song for you to go spy on your boyfriend/girlfriend/crush or whoever fuck that is bugging you. Hahaha, with that being said the song sounds very Hoot like. I really like it. The easy flowing lyrics with the nice spy beats are like freshly beat cupcakes.

#9. Lazy Girl
OMG I love this song. It really flows well. LOL at Jessica I'm a lazy girl in the beginning. We all know that Jessica is a lazy ass. I think this track is strong too. It's really catchy and you would caught off guard singing to it in the library like I'm a Lazy Girl~. It's catchy and a very fun song. AND NO IT DOESN't SOUND CHINESEzzz The song sounds really classic too. Daebak to this song !!

#10. Sunflower
This is a nice ballad that has 0 english in it. I really love the retro nostalgic feeling it got. It makes you high like floating and take you to the 80-90's era prior to those pop days. I thought it would be a song about Sunny lol. But this song is really good too. It sounds like a soundtrack from Gossip Girl or something at the end of the show. The melody and the lyric flows. It's such a nostalgic song that will make you feel oh so retro and hipster-ish.

#11. Vitamin
I find this song annoyingly catchy. Probably something forgettable. I know it's from the Vita500 thingy. But it just doesn't grow on me. It's not a mature song. The people who like mature concept would throw up when this song is playing. I'm sorry it's just bad and shouldn't be in the album in the first place. This song would be good for kindergarten kids though.

#12. Mr.Taxi(Korean Version)
The korean version.. well it's just the korean version of the japanese version. We all know Mr.Taxi is a fun catchy song that we all sing along everytime there's a taxi coming through in front of us. It's like a very catchy song but with nice electronica beats to it. Of course, it's the song that boost their popularity as well. Gotta love Mr. Taxi !!!!
Rate: 8.8/10
Overall the album is great and what not with some powerhouse tracks that I think is better than the lead single anyway. So kudos to the producers. Even though some tracks sound like vomit but thanks to the strong tracks that makes up for it. Overall Album rating...
OVERALL ALBUM RATING: 7.2/10
